SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York has appointed the following new executive committee officers to its board of directors for 2016.
The charity named Aaron D. Hugo president of its board of directors. He has been a member of the board for nine years and most recently held the position of 1st vice president. Hugo is executive VP and a partner at Pinckney Hugo Group, a Syracuse–based advertising agency.
Other newly appointed executive committee officers on the Ronald McDonald House Charities board include: 1st VP: Colleen M. Schmidt, president, Northeast region, Universal American; 2nd VP: Kathleen Kotz, owner, Kathy Kotz Home Builder Inc.; treasurer: Karen Ohliger, relationship manager, KeyBank; and secretary: Amy Collins, general manager, CNY Central Media Group including NBC3, CBS5, CW6 and CNYCentral.com.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY operates the CNY Ronald McDonald House year-round as a “home away from home” for families whose children are hospitalized with serious illnesses or injuries.
