People news: Bonadio promotes two to leadership positions in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Bonadio Group announced it has named partners Gail Kinsella and Bettina Lipphardt co-leaders of the firm’s Central New York Healthcare/Tax-Exempt Team, based at its Syracuse office.

Kinsella joined Bonadio as partner in 2015, following the merger with Testone, Marshall & Discenza, LLP. Throughout her 30-year career, she has gained extensive experience providing auditing, accounting, and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations, municipalities, employee-benefit plans, and closely held entities. Kinsella earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting at Le Moyne College. She serves on the Upstate Medical University Foundation board of directors.

Lipphardt began her accounting career with Bonadio in 1997. Having served more than 100 tax-exempt, municipal, and health-care organizations, she is knowledgeable in providing business advisory, assurance, and consulting services. Lipphardt earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher College.

The Kinsella and Lipphardt promotions follow the recent Bonadio appointments of partners Gerald Archibald and Mario Urso as co-leaders for the firm-wide Healthcare/Tax-Exempt Practice. They both bring decades of experience to their roles. Urso is responsible for team management, administration, and growth, while Archibald is dedicated to growing the Health Care/Tax-Exempt Practice firm-wide.
