SOLVAY, N.Y. — Solvay Bank announced that Andy March has joined its staff as VP, senior commercial loan officer.
March brings nearly 30 years of experience in the commercial-banking sector, including commercial-loan portfolio management, real estate, and commercial relationship development, the bank said in a news release.
Most recently, March was VP of commercial real estate for Berkshire Bank in Syracuse for nearly four years, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he was VP of commercial real estate at M&T Bank for more than eight years.
March received his bachelor’s degree in management from Clarkson University.
Founded in 1917, Solvay Bank says it’s the largest independent commercial bank headquartered and operating in Onondaga County. The bank, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary on March 17, has nine branch offices. It also owns Solvay Bank Insurance Agency, Inc.
