UTICA, N.Y. — The Pretty Garden Boutique and Cafe will formally open Tuesday, Aug.2 in a ribbon-cutting event with the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.
The business, located at 1584 Brinckerhoff Ave. in West Utica, offers a variety of clothing from Western (American style) to traditional Karen and Burmese clothing. “This boutique is a true east meets west shopping experience,” the chamber said in an email.
The owners Christine and Mee Mee (no last names provided) plan to add a small café specializing in coffee and desserts from the Thai culture and also hope to expand the boutique’s offerings to include household items in the future, according to the chamber email.
