People news: Currier hires new VP of business development

AUBURN, N.Y. — Currier Plastics, Inc. announced that Ron Ringleben has joined the custom plastics molder as VP of business development.

Ringleben worked for the last 16 years at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Rochester, where he helped develop a custom-molding business model for scientific plastic consumables. He has held roles in plastic part design, project management, new product development, and business development and sales over the past two decades.

“Ron’s broad range of experience in business development, new product design and project management are a welcome addition to our team,” John Currier, president of Currier Plastics, said in a news release.

All Currier business-development staff will report to Ringleben.

Currier Plastics, based in Auburn, has been custom molding for a variety of industries such as plastic packaging, beauty and cosmetics, amenities, household consumables, electronic connectors, and medical measuring devices since 1982.
