CICERO, N.Y. — SRC Ventures, Inc. has named Mary Pat Hartnett president of SRCTec, LLC.
Hartnett succeeds Drew James, who is now senior VP of the radars and sensors division at SRC, Inc., the organization said in a news release issued Tuesday.
In her new role, Hartnett is responsible for the overall management and leadership of SRCTec. That includes developing and implementing “strategic” plans and initiatives, along with collaborating with SRC to grow the manufacturing and logistics business, the company said.
“Mary Pat is a proven leader with extensive program-management experience. She has been instrumental in guiding some of the most complex SRCTec programs to great success,” Paul Tremont, chairman of the SRC Ventures board of directors said in the release. “Mary Pat’s drive, dedication and ingenuity made her a great choice to lead SRCTec as the company continues to evolve as a leader in high-tech manufacturing.”
Hartnett previously served as VP of programs, a position in which she was responsible for the overall management and leadership of all SRCTec programs. They included the LCMR counterfire radar, the CREW Duke counter-improvised explosive device (IED) system, and the SR Hawk ground surveillance radar.
She also served as director of electronic-warfare (EW) programs, managing SRCTec’s EW-related programs that included system development; “high-volume” production; testing; fielding and support; subcontract management; program financial performance; and depot management.
Cicero–based SRC Ventures is the holding company for four SRC subsidiaries — Cicero–based SRCTec, LLC; Gryphon Sensors, LLC; Acumen Detection, LLC; and Baltimore, Maryland–based FourV, LLC.
SRC is a nonprofit research and development company that works in the areas of defense, environment, and intelligence. SRCTec is a for-profit, high-tech manufacturing firm.
