MVCC Foundation names board officers

Rick Short is director of marketing communications at Indium Corp., where he has worked in a variety of roles over the past 30 years. He holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a bachelor’s degree in business management from Utica College, and an associate degree from MVCC.

Stephen R. Zogby is executive VP at Scalzo, Zogby & Wittig, Inc., an independent insurance agency that he co-founded in 1992 with Gary Scalzo. Zogby is also a member of the Oneida County Industrial Development Agency board, president of the board of Central New York Health Home Network, Inc., and serves on the agents’ advisory board of the Adirondack Insurance Exchange. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business/economics from SUNY Brockport and his associate degree in business administration from MVCC.

Steve Coupe is general manager at Harley-Davidson of Utica, a position he’s held for more than 16 years. He previously was chief operating officer at Carbone Auto Group. Coupe holds an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, a bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and an associate degree in business administration, management, and operations from Herkimer County Community College.

Lori Kaplan Felice has been a licensed real-estate broker and property manager at CA Kaplan in Rome for more than 25 years. Kaplan Felice is a member of the board of the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce, and she previously served as a trustee for the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Binghamton University.
