VERONA, N.Y. — The Oneida Indian Nation’s Verona Collective cannabis enterprise will open its newest dispensary at 5528 NY-31 in the Verona Crossroads retail plaza on Aug. 8.
The dispensary will serve as the flagship location for Verona Collective. The 3,000-square-foot space will include 2,000 square feet of retail space, offering a variety of products, accessories, and apparel.
On Aug. 10 from 12:30-4:30 p.m., the new dispensary will celebrate its grand opening during a block party at the retail plaza with live music and various vendors. Wáhta̲ʼ Maple Farm, another Oneida Indian Nation enterprise, will offer samples of new maple confections including candies and cotton candy.

Through its enterprises — which include Turning Stone Resort Casino, YBR Casino & Sorts Book, Point Place Casino, The Lake House at Sylvan Beach, The Cove at Sylvan Beach, Maple Leaf Markets, SavOn Convenience stores, and Verona Collective — the nation employs more than 5,000 people. Proceeds from its business enterprises are used to rebuild the nation’s economic base and provide services including housing, health care, and educational incentives to its approximately 1,000 enrolled members.
