Marsh, the world’s largest insurance broker and risk advisor, has appointed Corey Santonocito as senior VP of captive programs for Buffalo and Upstate New York. In this role, he will assist businesses across the region in taking greater control of their risk-management strategies through a group captive arrangement. Santonocito brings more than 10 years’ experience in member-owned group captives, which are insurance companies owned and controlled by a group of businesses that pool their risks and share insurance costs and benefits. He has successfully helped clients to recapture significant premium dollars through effective risk control, claims mitigation, and safety improvement initiatives. Prior to joining Marsh, Santonocito served as partner and senior VP of captive insurance programs at USI Insurance Services.
