DeWITT, N.Y. — Jiffy Lube, a national chain of automotive service centers, opened a new location at 5802 Bridge St. in DeWitt on Tuesday.
This new Jiffy Lube service center is owned and operated by franchisee Stonebriar Auto Services, LLC, per a company announcement.
It will employ between eight and 10 people, Jiffy Lube tells CNYBJ in an email message.

Jiffy Lube offers a wide range of automotive services including tires, brakes, battery service, and alignments, as well as the oil changes, for which it is most known.
“We are excited about our growth in New York and the opening of new Jiffy Lube in East Syracuse,” Steve Isom, executive VP at Stonebriar Auto Services, said in a statement. “While we offer our signature oil change, we want the community to know we can help with all of their car care needs including tires, brakes, suspension work, batteries and much more.”
Stonebriar last November also opened a new Jiffy Lube location at 5237 W. Taft Road in the town of Clay. Founded in late 2019, Stonebriar Auto Services owns and operates 75 Jiffy Lube service centers across the U.S.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Jiffy Lube International, Inc. serves 20 million customers each year at more than 2,000 franchised service centers across North America. Jiffy Lube contends it pioneered the fast oil change industry in 1979 by establishing the first drive-through service bay, providing customers with quick oil changes. Headquartered in Houston, Jiffy Lube is a wholly owned, indirect subsidiary of Shell Oil Company.
