Baker’s role includes building on the existing compliance program to include auditing processes and educating team members to ensure CHJC remains compliant with state and federal laws. She will also update existing internal policies and procedures and monitor business practices to assess potential areas of compliance risk.

The North Country native previously worked in several of the area’s hospitals as well as in North Carolina. Her background is primarily hospital based, most recently as health-information management director at Carthage Area Hospital, according to her LinkedIn profile.
