Joseph J. Kelly of New Hartford was hired as Faculty Student Association staff accountant. Prior to joining the college, Kelly worked as an audit/payroll intern with the Oneida County comptroller’s office. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University at Albany.
Vito Valenzi of Herkimer is Herkimer College’s new public-relations assistant, bringing both media and film production experience to the position. He most recently worked as photo editor for Meyda Lighting in Yorkville, where he was responsible for product photography, editing, and retouching images. Valenzi also served as videographer for St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish in Utica. He holds an associate degree in communication arts/digital filmmaking from Herkimer College.
