Acquisition of iV4, which has a Syracuse office, is complete

An Atlanta, Georgia–based firm has completed its acquisition of iV4, a Rochester–based company that has an office in Syracuse.

ProArch first announced the agreement to acquire iV4 in May 2020, and the combined company will retain the ProArch name, per a Monday news release.

ProArch specializes in cybersecurity, compliance, cloud, data and artificial intelligence, and software development.

Santosh Kaveti, ProArch’s CEO and founder, will continue in the firm’s top position. Michael Spoont, CEO of the former iV4, will serve as president of ProArch.

“Despite the COVID-19 pandemic,” ProArch has hired 67 new employees since the acquisition was announced 10 months ago, the firm noted.

ProArch employs 350 people and focuses on energy and manufacturing industries, along with mid-sized enterprises. The firm says it serves markets across the U.S. and has offices, employees, and clients in London and India.

“For our valued clients, we can deliver more services, faster and more efficiently,” Spoont said in a recent email to customers about the iV4 name change. “For our team members, career opportunities and more resources will be readily available. For our clients, we will always strive to make the cloud seamless and security prevalent, build products to propel growth and analyze data to drive decisions that matter.”

The iV4 Syracuse office is located at 344 West Genesee St., per the company’s website.
