NEW HARTFORD — Adirondack Bank, a Utica–based community banking company, announced that it will open a new branch office on Commercial Drive in New Hartford on May 5.

The new branch, Adirondack’s 19th, will located in the Kmart Plaza at 4697 Commercial Drive, just off the Route 840N exit ramp.

The 3,400-square-foot office will feature two electronic-banking kiosk stations with WiFi service, two interior ATMs, and one 24-hour drive-up ATM, as well as a drive-thru and night depository, according to the banking company.

“In addition to our traditional banking products and services, there will be access to investment, retirement, and health care products and services (offered through our affiliate, Adirondack Financial Services Corp.), and insurance products and services (provided through our subsidiary, Adirondack Insurance Services),” Adirondack Bank said in a news release.

The new branch will also serve as a mortgage center with mortgage-loan officers available on site to work with consumers. Adirondack Bank said it offers conventional fixed-rate mortgages, adjustable-rate products, FHA and VA loans, construction mortgages, as well as camp and second-home financing.

“The new location is exciting because it will showcase all of the available resources we offer…,” Rocco F. Arcuri Sr., president and CEO of Adirondack Bank, said in the news release. “It provides high-tech banking options as well as the personalized banking services that Adirondack customers are accustomed to in a location where many of our customers already do a good portion of their shopping.”
