UTICA, N.Y. — The Adirondack League Club Community Fund at the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties awarded more than $118,000 in the third quarter of 2022 to support over 20 area nonprofit organizations.

The grants ranged from $1,000 to $15,000 to support a wide range of programs and services, the foundation announced.

“The support from Adirondack League Club to active nonprofits in our two-county community will help strengthen them and take their success to the next level,” Alicia Dicks, president/CEO of the Community Foundation, said in a release. “The grants encourage nonprofits to continue the important work they do and meet the needs of those they serve.”

The grant recipients are: Adirondack Experience, Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance, Big Moose Fire Company, Dodge Pratt Northam Art & Community Center, Forestport Fire Department, Friends of the Polar Bears: Fulton Chain of Lakes Performing Arts Council, Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks, Inlet Area Community Task Force, Inlet Volunteer Emergency Services, Kiwanis Club Foundation of Central Adirondacks, LivingADK, Mercy Flight Central, Niccolls Memorial Presbyterian Church, North Country Life Flight, Old Forge Library, Old Forge Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Sagamore Institute, The Kinderwood Program, Town of Webb Health Center Fund, Town of Webb Historical Association, View, and Woodgate Free Library.
