UTICA, N.Y. — The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) announced Monday afternoon that it has received its shipment of vaccines that were delayed by bad winter weather.

Now that the vaccines have arrived, MVHS will open its COVID-19 vaccine POD, located at 1710 Burrstone Road, on Thursday, Feb. 25, for those who were initially scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18, and then rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 22. Both of those scheduled PODS had to be scrapped because the vaccines had not been received. Appointment times will transfer to the new date and remain the same.

MVHS said it contacted those with appointments via email with the new appointment information. The health system said it does not have any new vaccine appointments available at this time.
