Ashley Pernicone
FILLMORE, N.Y. — New York State Police troopers on Monday arrested Ashley E. Pernicone, 24, of Fillmore (Allegany County) for grand larceny and falsely reporting an incident.
Pernicone allegedly falsely reported fraudulent charges on her bank account to the Community Bank, N.A. branch located in Fillmore, for which she received reimbursement about $3,600 from the bank, according to a news release from the New York State Police.
Community Bank, which is headquartered in DeWitt, reported an incident on Sept. 21, 2018, which led to a State Police investigation, culminating in the charges.
Pernicone was arrested and arraigned in Centerville Town Court, where she was remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond. She is due to appear in Hume Town Court in March, the New York State Police said.
