ALYSSA SPINA has recently been promoted to associate VP of development and partnerships of Upstate Cerebral Palsy. She previously served as a grant writer at Upstate Cerebral Palsy and affiliated nonprofit organizations. In her new role, she will head Upstate Cerebral Palsy’s Department of Communications and Donor Engagement. Prior to working at Upstate Cerebral Palsy, Spina was a manager of research and evaluation for a consulting firm in Washington, D.C., where she worked with federal agency clients. She received her MPA degree with a concentration in nonprofit management at American University as a Merit Scholar and holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
