DeWITT, N.Y. — Anaren Microwave, Inc., a subsidiary of Anaren, Inc., recently announced that it has received a $5 million order for MSK power hybrid modules in support of the commercial aviation market.
The order was booked at the end of last quarter and is expected to be completed by the end of 2018, Anaren said in a news release.
The company couldn’t release the customer’s name without permission, Katherine Heisler, a marketing communications professional at Anaren, said in response to a BJNN inquiry.

Anaren has increased its staff by 10 percent over the last year to accommodate several orders, Heisler said. The company now employs 1,100 people overall, with 617 employees at its headquarters in the town of DeWitt.
Celebrating its 50th year in business, Anaren says it designs, manufactures, and sells custom high-frequency solutions and standard components for the wireless communications, space and defense electronics, wireless consumer electronics, and Internet-of-things markets.
