The Financial Services Institute (FSI), an advocacy organization for the independent financial-services industry, has named local financial advisor, Angi Renna of Sterling Financial Group, LLC to its 2024 Advocacy Circle of Excellence. This honor recognizes her commitment to FSI’s mission and advancing the interests of Main Street Americans by providing them with affordable financial advice, products, and services. FSI’s Advocacy Circle of Excellence recognizes FSI members who are top contributors to the financial-services industry’s advocacy priorities and the overall advancement of the profession. As a member of FSI, Renna, a retirement income certified professional (RICP), participates alongside other FSI members on advocacy days, both in New York and Washington, D.C. The participants collaborate with lawmakers, educating them on the financial-services industry and guiding them on policies that will provide better opportunities for investors to get much needed independent financial advice.
