VESTAL, N.Y. — The 16th annual Binghamton Symposium on Healthcare Management and Policy will address topics ranging from “New Frontiers of Disaster Management: COVID-19” to “Health Insurance Policy, Politics, and Reform.”
It’s scheduled for Sept. 18 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. via the Zoom web-conferencing platform. This event is open to the public, but registration is required. All participants must register online by Aug. 31.
Manas Chatterji, a professor at Binghamton University’s School of Management, will discuss these topics in an international framework of his research experiences on disaster management in the U.S., Japan, Australia, Iceland, the European Union, and India.
He has authored and edited more than 30 books and published about 80 scholarly articles in the areas of peace science, military spending, disarmament, economic conversion, conflict management, regional science, technology management, health care management, and energy, environmental and urban management, Binghamton said.
