HARPURSVILLE, N.Y. — Let the waiting begin: Animal Adventure Park’s April the giraffe is pregnant again.

Jordan Patch, owner of the park, announced the news on national television Wednesday morning.

April became an internet sensation in 2017, with web visitors checking in on her as her due date approached and passed.

According to a press release from the park, more than a million viewers tuned in to Animal Adventure Park’s live Giraffe Cam to watch April give birth to a healthy, male calf named Tajiri on April 15, 2017.

Patch said tests show April is months into her current pregnancy and that the new baby is expected in early spring 2019.

April’s fans will once again be able to follow her pregnancy on social media, the release said.

Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, is federally licensed by the USDA. Animals at the park include African lions, wolves, armadillos, monkeys, lemurs, birds, lizards, tree frogs, snakes as well as stick bugs, tarantulas and hissing cockroaches.
