AUBURN — The Auburn Doubledays, the single-A short-season affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals, are working to fill out their employment roster for the 2014 season.

The Doubledays will hold a job fair on May 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the team office at Falcon Park in Auburn. 

Appointments aren’t necessary, the Doubledays said in a news release.

The baseball club is seeking employees for concessions, the ticket office, merchandise, maintenance, and to serve as ushers and ticket takers, the team said.

The Doubledays, which play in the New York-Penn League, open the season against the Batavia Muckdogs at Leo A. Pinckney Field at Falcon Park on June 13.
