In this new position, she will assist BHG with regulatory and compliance matters, as well as support the company’s risk management and reporting.

Simons-Poole’s bank-supervision career spans three decades, including 23 years with the FDIC, most recently as deputy regional director of risk-management supervision. She previously spent seven years as a director for Promontory Financial Group, a Washington, D.C.–based financial services consulting firm. In that role, she advised a variety of clients, from the largest insured national banks to community banks, BHG said.
Simons-Poole earned an MBA from Louisiana Tech University and a bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University.
BHG’s financial headquarters is located in Syracuse and its corporate headquarters is in Davie, Florida. Since 2001, the firm has provided more than $3 billion in financing to more than 100,000 licensed health-care practitioners.
