Barton & Loguidice is a Salina–based engineering, planning, environmental, and landscape-architecture firm with 350 employees throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Owner William (Bill) J. Bray — the acquired firm’s lone employee — will be joining B&L and working from its new office in Portland, Maine to “further enhance” the company’s transportation and municipal services in the New England market, per the B&L news release.

“The acquisition of Traffic Solutions is a good fit for B&L and a natural progression of growth for our new Maine office as Bill Bray has worked with B&L staff on numerous transportation-related projects, demonstrating our shared vision for providing inspired solutions that exceed the expectations of our municipal clients,” John Brusa, Jr., president and CEO of Barton & Loguidice, said. “This is our second expansion of services in the New England market, following our acquisition in October 2020 of Anchor Engineering Services. We are excited to have Bill and his extensive transportation experience on our team.”

Bray has owned/operated Traffic Solutions for the past 35 years, working with clients and communities in Maine and New Hampshire. He held several key positions in the public sector in Maine throughout his career, working for the City of Portland as a traffic engineer and then director of public works.

Bray has been a member of the Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation Study (PACTS) Committee and is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, B&L said.
