Bassett expands masking requirement to all facilities

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Bassett Healthcare Network announced it has instituted temporary masking requirements across all its facilities as COVID-19 numbers rise. The move comes a week after it announced masking for its Bassett Medical Center facility in Cooperstown only.

All patients, visitors, employees, students, and volunteers must wear medical-grade masks across all campuses, according to a Bassett news release. That includes A.O. Fox Hospital, A.O. Fox Nursing Home, A.O. Fox Hospital – Tri-Town Campus, Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Little Falls Hospital, O’Connor Hospital, Valley Health Services, Valley Residential Services, all outpatient clinics, all school-based health centers, all administrative offices, and all other buildings.

Signs will be posted and masks available at all entrances.
