Bassett Healthcare Network extends sign-on bonus program

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Bassett Healthcare Network announced that it is extending an organization-wide sign-on bonus program to help recruit new nurses and other staff members.

Bassett is offering $35,000 for registered nurses and between $10,000 and $20,000 for nearly every other position across its health-care network.

To provide our patients with the best possible care, one of our top priorities is finding exceptional professionals to join our team, Staci Thompson, interim president and CEO of Bassett Healthcare Network, said in a news release. We are welcoming new employees daily throughout our entire health system.

The sign-on bonus is just part of Bassett Healthcare Networks total benefit and compensation package, which includes flexible hours, tuition assistance, a professional work environment, and excellent medical insurance, Belmont noted.
