COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Cooperstown–based Bassett Healthcare Network and the Masonic Medical Research Institute (MMRI) of Utica plan a new collaborative initiative to “further the advancement of health research and outcomes in Central New York and beyond.”
Over the coming months, the two organizations will work together to identify ways that they can “better help local communities,” per Bassett’s news release.
“By leveraging each of our strengths, I am confident that this new relationship will lead to discoveries in science and medicine that we could not have achieved independently,” Dr. Tommy Ibrahim, president and CEO of Bassett Healthcare Network, said.
