BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — The Binghamton Rumble Ponies minor-league baseball team on Feb. 19 will host its annual talent-search event for game-day staff at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City.

The “Rumble Factor” event is scheduled between 12-5 p.m. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are the Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets.

The team is looking to fill positions that include mascot; announcer; and on-field host. In addition, the team invites soloists to come audition to perform the national anthem before each home game.

Individuals looking for part-time employment over the summer at Mirabito Stadium may also come and fill out an application. All applicants must be at least 16 years of age.

Part-time positions include but are not limited to: starting gate box-office attendants and ticket takers; the Armory team store & UHS jumper zone; food and beverage; grounds crew; ushers; and parking-lot attendants.
