Binghamton University names Yarosh director of media and public relations

VESTAL — Binghamton University announced today that it has named Ryan Yarosh its director of media and public relations.

Yarosh has served Binghamton University as the assistant director of media and public relations for the past eight years. In his new position, he will continue to report within the university’s Division of External Affairs.

Yarosh will continue to lead strategic efforts for the university in national and local media placement, social media, video, photography, and issues management.

Before joining Binghamton University, Yarosh worked for five years as assistant news director for WICZ-TV, the Fox-affiliated TV station for the Binghamton market.

He received his bachelor’s degree in English and master’s in public administration from Binghamton University.
