“Leveraging partnerships with key campus entities such as Campus Recreation is a dynamic way to engage our campus and community,” Alexa Schmidt, Sodexo dietitian at Binghamton University, said in a news release.

A new component to the Health Fair this year is an appearance by Jim Donovan, an educator and multi-platinum recording artist from the band Rusted Root. He will conduct three 20-minute drumming sessions as part of his World Drum Circle workshop.

Food vendors at the Health Fair will give away free food samples and information about their products, according to the release. Attendees can learn about health and wellness by participating in free health screenings, exercise sessions, and cooking demos.
