The event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the George Korutz Justice Building, located at 31 Avenue C in Johnson City, the school said in a news release. It’s open to the public.
Binghamton’s new health-sciences campus in Johnson City is “well underway.”
The new building that will open in 2018 will house the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. In addition, the Decker School of Nursing will relocate from the main university campus in Vestal to a renovated former Endicott Johnson factory building on the new campus in Johnson City.
Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger; Gloria Meredith, dean of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences; and Mario Ortiz, dean of the Decker School of Nursing, will each give presentations during the town hall.
The event will also include time for audience questions following the presentations, the school said.
