BME to formally open new location in New Hartford on Jan. 28

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. — Business Machines & Equipment, Inc. (BME) announced it will formally open its new corporate office in New Hartford next Thursday, Jan. 28.

The office supplies company is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony on site at 8375 Seneca Turnpike with the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 p.m., according to a news release issued by BME. Harrison (Chip) Hummel III and Steve Mitchell, who became BME’s owners in 2014, will be on hand for the grand opening.

Following the ceremony, BME will host the Greater Utica Chamber’s monthly Business After Hours networking event from 5–7 p.m., on location. Participants can register for the event on the chamber’s website.
