SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC announced that Arthur J. Siegel will take over as the firm’s general counsel.
He assumes the position from recently retired member John Gaal, who was the firm’s general counsel for the past six years.
Siegel is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years’ experience and works from the Albany office of the Syracuse–based law firm.
Prior to serving as general counsel, Siegel represented Fortune 50 companies, school districts, private and public corporations, and individuals in multi-million dollar product liability, environmental, commercial, premises liability, construction, health, business, tax, and other general litigation, according to a Bond news release. Siegel also had an active appellate practice, having successfully argued in the New York Court of Appeals, the New York Appellate Divisions, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Bond, Schoeneck & King has 250 lawyers in a broad range of practice areas. The firm has eight offices in New York state, as well as locations in Naples, Florida and Kansas City.
