Boutique retailer Dazzle is moving, changing name a bit

MANLIUS, N.Y. — Dazzle, a retail fixture on Fayette Street in the village of Manlius, is moving its store to Tops Plaza in Manlius, says owner Lois Ross.

The new space, between Manlius Nail Salon and Spa and Cork Monkey, is about the same size as the current store at 332 Fayette St., where the boutique retailer of apparel, jewelry, and accessories has been for the past seven years, she tells BJNN. But the new space is laid out differently.

Also different will be the name. Ross says the store will now be called Dazzle Boutique and Gifts.

Ross says she had a loyal clientele on Fayette Street, but believes the new location will allow those visiting other stores and restaurants in Tops Plaza to stop in and discover her shop.

Along with clothing and gifts, the new store will continue to sell Fayetteville and Fayetteville–Manlius emblazoned clothing. She says that is a big draw for the business.

Ross planned to close the current store Thursday (Feb. 22) and hopes to be ready for a grand opening at the new location in mid-March and a soft opening before that.
