BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Rtistry By Design last Friday held the formal opening for its new office at the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator.

A full-service branding and graphic-design studio, Rtistry was launched full-time in the summer of 2016 and has generated exponential growth since then, according to a news release from the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, announcing the opening and ribbon cutting.

“When I first moved to Binghamton in 2012, I didn’t see the area as it truly is. I did not want to be here. No one that I talked to even wanted to be here. But something remarkable happened in the years that followed: I fell in love with this place. I got to know the real Binghamton, and I stayed,” Rachel Jenks, Rtistry’s founder and art director, said in the release.

“Today, this region is ripe with potential, and every day things are changing. New businesses are being launched. New restaurants and boutiques are springing up. And here I am six years later, getting to help those businesses launch. The community here at the incubator and the entrepreneurial community in this area are incredible,” she added.

Long-term plans include permanent office space in Binghamton, a full team of employees and, Jenks said, for the business to generate enough revenue to fund an orphanage.
