SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TAST) announced it has completed the acquisition of seven Burger King restaurants located north of Columbus, Ohio.
The transaction closed Wednesday, Carrols said in a news release.
Carrols has purchased 56 restaurants so far in 2016.
Syracuse–based Carrols is the largest Burger King franchisee in the U.S. and has operated Burger King restaurants since 1976.
Carrols currently operates 762 Burger King restaurants in 16 states, including 93 in Ohio.
