Carthage Area Hospital

Carthage Area Hospital, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, North Country Orthopaedic Group, and its affiliates recently announced the appointment of PETER SINAGRA as executive director of the foundation. Most recently, he was executive director of the Kaleida Health Foundation in Western New York. Sinagra has more than 30 years of experience developing and directing organizational strategy. Working in professional sports as a director of sales and marketing, Sinagra has earned a World Series ring with the New York Mets and a Super Bowl ring with the New England Patriots. After many years and accomplishments in professional sports, Sinagra made the switch to higher education, where he became the director of athletic development and major gift officer for Niagara University. He later accepted a position as director of institutional advancement at the College of Saint Rose. Sinagra attended Saint Thomas University in Florida, earning a bachelor’s degree in sports administration while a member of the college baseball team.

KYLE WESTLAKE was named executive director of marketing and public relations for Carthage Area Hospital, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, North Country Orthopaedic Group, and its affiliates. Most recently, Westlake was project manager of WSI Digital Marketing while living in Miami. Graduating from Watertown High School, Jefferson Community College, and SUNY Potsdam, Westlake is a product of the North Country. He has more than eight years of experience in marketing and public relations, with specializations in web development, advertising, graphic design, search engine optimization, and project management. Earning his PMP certification in 2021, Westlake has worked in a variety of industries and designed comprehensive marketing strategies that drive consumer knowledge and results. Westlake graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications in 2016. 

MATTHEW CRANE, D.O. has joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital at 196 North St. in Geneva, specializing in the field of anesthesiology. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Crane completed his residency and internship in anesthesiology at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital. He also holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville College, Buffalo.

TIMOTHY PARK, D.O. has joined the medical staff of Geneva General Hospital, as a hospitalist. Park earned his medical degree at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, and an internship in general surgery at New York Presbyterian in Queens, Flushing
