JCC to expand program awarding credits for learning outside class

New York onion production fell 7 percent in 2022

A recent government report found that New York onion production fell an estimated 7 percent to 2.52 million cwt (hundredweight) last year from the 2021 production estimate.  That’s according to a Feb. 15 report from the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), New York Field Office. New York milk producer prices fall 4 percent from prior month

Milk prices at the producer level in New York state remained elevated in the latest month but prices tempered from previous months. New York dairy farms were paid an average of $24.90 per hundredweight of milk in December, down 4.2 percent from $26 in November, but were still 13.2 percent higher than the $22 average in December
