CenterState CEO annual meeting to focus on exports

SYRACUSE — A leader of the Export-Import Bank of the United States will deliver the keynote address at the CenterState CEO annual meeting in April.

Wanda Felton, first vice president and vice chairwoman of the bank, will provide an outlook on the growth of potential U.S. exports and discuss international opportunities for companies in the region. Representatives from the Brookings Institution will also be present to discuss a new strategy to increase regional exports.

Central New York is one of four areas in the nation participating in the Brookings Metropolitan Export Initiative. The goal is to provide blueprints that can be followed in metropolitan areas around the country to double exports over five years.
