ELMIRA, N.Y. — Chemung Canal Trust Co., a subsidiary of Chemung Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: CHMG), announced the appointment of Kimberly A. Hazelton as executive VP of retail client services.

A native of Broome County and current resident of Cayuga County, Hazelton has 30 years of banking experience and has served in senior management positions with NBT Bank, Fifth Third Bank, and TD Bank. In 2014, she relocated back to New York state and has most recently served as the chief operations officer at Alternatives Federal Credit Union in Ithaca.

Hazelton will oversee Chemung Canal Trust’s retail client services, which includes 33 full-service branches and its residential and consumer-lending operations.

Established in 1833, Chemung Canal Trust says it is the oldest, locally owned and managed community bank in New York state.
