WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Dr. B. Harrison Levine, a child psychiatrist, recently joined the staff at the Children’s Home of Jefferson County.
Levine specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, teens and young adults. His expertise is in anxiety, and mood and psychotic disorders, with a focus on clarifying diagnoses and treating debilitating symptoms, according to a Children’s Home news release.
Most recently, Dr. Levine was in private practice in Denver, Colorado.
He is a graduate of the Columbia University Medical School for International Health in Beersheva, Israel, as well as the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in Pennsylvania. Levine completed his residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Michigan and held a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell Universities in New York City.
The Children’s Home of Jefferson County generated more than $14.1 million in revenue in its 2014-15 fiscal year, according to its annual report. The agency’s expenses for the year topped $13.9 million. It served more than 2,500 clients.
