Chimes Building renovation work set to wrap in early 2026

The Allyn Family Foundation says interior demolition work in the Chimes Building was scheduled to start in mid-September and continue through the first quarter of 2026. It’s a $48 million project, which includes the building purchase price of $8.2 million, The project calls for 152 apartments with retail and office space on the first floor.
