OWEGO, N.Y. — China Garden Chinese Restaurant will formally open next Tuesday, March 1, in Owego.
The restaurant will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. at its location at 119-123 North Ave.
China Garden, owned by Mei Guang Tang, employs two people. It first opened its doors to customers on Feb. 18, according to the Tioga County Chamber.

China Garden serves traditional Chinese cuisine, with daily lunch and dinner specials. Customers can dine in or order take out, and there is ample off-street parking available. The eatery is open Monday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
