OGDENSBURG, N.Y. — Charles (Chuck) Gijanto has been appointed interim CEO at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.

Gijanto, who recently serviced as interim president and CEO at Oswego Hospital, has filled the role of CEO, chief financial officer, or chief operating officer in several hospitals including Fletcher Allen Health Care; Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital; Baystate Health in Springfield, Massachusetts; and Massena Memorial Hospital, prior to joining Oswego Hospital.

Gijanto resides in Ticonderoga. He has a master’s degree in health systems administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Siena College.
