SYRACUSE — Jack Finn is the new CEO of ClearPath Diagnostics.
ClearPath, headquartered at 600 E. Genesee St. in Syracuse, is a physician-owned laboratory practice specializing in tissue pathology and cytopathology, which deals with diseases at the cellular level. It plans to grow throughout the Northeast by offering new services and tapping the hospital market.
The firm picked Finn as its CEO in part because he has experience in hospital-based laboratory environments and because he is familiar with the hospital and physician markets. Finn is a former CEO and president of Centrex Clinical Laboratories, Inc. of New Hartford. He was with Centrex for 25 years and helped it grow from $1 million to more than $45 million in annual sales, according to a news release.
“When I consider ClearPath’s depth, expertise, and excellence of services, and then look at the extraordinary opportunities that we can offer hospitals, I expect great things for this company’s future,” Finn said. “To be a part of this plan for growth is really exciting.”
