CNY ASTD announces CNY BEST nominees

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — CNY ASTD has announced the nominees for the 8th Annual CNY BEST Learning and Performance Awards.

The association presents the awards annually to recognize excellence in learning and performance practices in the region. Organizations and individuals who link learning to the strategic growth or success of organizations and individuals will be recognized as CNY’s BEST in Learning and Performance.

A panel of local and national judges representing the profession and community will be evaluating the nominations, according to a CNY ASTD news release. The panel will assess the quality of learning and performance practices, practice results and impacts, and demonstrations of how the practices linked to the strategic growth or success of the organization and individuals.

The CNY BEST winners will be announced at the CNY BEST Learning and Performance Awards ceremony to be held on June 11 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Syracuse, located near Carrier Circle. A reception is held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and awards ceremony from 6 to 8 p.m. Derrick Suehs, chief quality officer at Crouse Hospital, is the scheduled keynote speaker.
