Generous Roasting began with the purchase of Furnace Hills Coffee. Dave Baldwin started Furnace Hills 11 years ago with a commitment to hire people with developmental disabilities. His daughter Erin, who has Down syndrome, was the first employee.

With the purchase of Furnace Hills, Generous Roasting (www.generousroasting.com) continues the mission to create employment opportunities and work experience for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
