Barbara Houghton
CAZENOVIA, N.Y. — Community Bank N.A. announced it has promoted Barbara Houghton to district manager.
In her new role, Houghton will oversee the seven Community Bank branches in its Oneida–Madison region. This includes Cazenovia, Chittenango, Canastota, Vernon, Hamilton, Oneida –182 Main St., and the Oneida convenience office. Houghton has been with Community Bank since 2015 and has served the Cazenovia market since 2006. Most recently, she was VP, branch manager of the Cazenovia branch.
“We’re extremely excited for Barbara to take on this key position within the bank,” Community Bank Regional Manager Paul Lepore said in a release. “With a long history of assisting this community, no one knows it better than Barbara. I know that her expertise and leadership will drive the continued success of all seven branches she’ll oversee.”
Community Bank has more than 230 branches across upstate New York, northeastern Pennsylvania, Vermont, and western Massachusetts. Headquartered in DeWitt, parent company Community Bank System, Inc. (NYSE: CBU) has more than $10 billion in assets.
