ONEIDA, N.Y. — Community Bank N.A. announced it has promoted Wendy Matters to branch manager of its office at 585 Main St. in Oneida.

She joins the Oneida Main Street branch from Community Bank’s Cazenovia location.

Matters has more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry and has been with Community Bank since 2015, when its parent company, Community Bank System Inc. (NYSE: CBU), acquired Oneida Savings Bank’s parent, Oneida Financial Corp.

Throughout her career, she has worked in various roles, including teller, senior teller, and branch assistant.

Community Bank has more than 230 branches across upstate New York, northeastern Pennsylvania, Vermont, and western Massachusetts. Headquartered in DeWitt, the banking company has more than $10 billion in assets.
